BUUIC’s Thai and Global Citizenship course would like to thank UNICEF Thailand for their support and the opportunity on October 28, 2024, to receive information on the topic “Who is UNICEF and What Does UNICEF Do?” presented by Khun Santi Siritheerajed, UNICEF Child Protection Officer.
BUUIC students are willing to be part of the SDGs related to children’s well-being and are committed to achieving these goals to build a better future for children. We are ready to follow UNICEF’s Five Goal Areas, ensuring that every child survives and thrives (SDGs 2, 3), every child learns (SDG 4), every child is protected from violence, exploitation, abuse, neglect, and harmful practices (SDGs 5, 16), every child lives in a safe and sustainable climate and environment (SDGs 6, 13), and every child has access to social protection and lives free from poverty (SDG 1).
We look forward to continued collaboration with UNICEF Thailand and remain committed to being advocates for children’s rights and sustainable development in our communities and beyond.
