On November 11, 2024, BUUIC organized an environmental conservation activity, where students from the Thai and Global Citizenship course participated in a beach clean-up along Bangsaen Beach, near the San Chao Pho Saen Shrine. This event was facilitated and partially supported with equipment by the Saensuk Municipal Office.
The objective of this activity was to reduce waste along the seashore, promote environmental sustainability, and instill a sense of responsibility and volunteerism. This initiative aims to preserve the beach, a space that citizens should actively protect by sorting waste, conserving, and restoring the environment, in alignment with SDG 14: conserving and sustainably using the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the Saensuk Municipal Office once again for supporting this event. We hope to raise more awareness and hold similar activities in the coming years, fostering a lasting commitment to environmental conservation.
