On November 27, 2025, A. Jimmy took his Materials Handling and Packaging class to visit ANCA Manufacturing (ANCA) in Rayong. Participants included 31 Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SLSM) students as well as Mr. Kiti from the BUUIC office staff. Members of the ANCA staff gave an informative presentation about their company and their logistics operations. After the presentation, the ANCA team led the students into the warehouse and the factory floor so that students could observe the layout and traffic flow of a modern manufacturing plant. The students also observed multiple types of materials handling equipment and packaging materials – all things that we discussed in the classroom. Field trips such as this trip to ANCA give our BUUIC students an excellent experiential learning opportunity as well as an opportunity to talk with experts in their fields. For the trip to ANCA, the experts were in the fields of warehouse and manufacturing management, transportation logistics, materials handling, and product packaging.
