HTM Students Shine in First Cross-Campus “Cross-Cultural Culinary” Project

On November 14, 2025, Third- and fourth-year HTM students of BUUIC successfully completed the first-ever “Cross-Cultural Culinary” Final Project in the course Chinese for Food and Beverage, marking an exciting milestone in international collaboration with the School of Foreign Languages, Hubei University of Technology, China.

Pairs of Thai students worked with Chinese peers to learn Chinese while cooking authentic Chinese dishes. The Dean, Associate Dean, and faculty joined the tasting, and the winner was Lazi Chicken (Spicy Sichuan-style Chicken.

This hands-on project boosted language skills, cultural understanding, teamwork, and showcased the power of learning by doing. Future collaborations promise even more delicious learning adventures!
