In a dynamic initiative, 18 students and 2 instructors from the Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) program traveled to Ban Roi Sao in the Takientia District, Banglamung, Chonburi on 29 November 2023. This excursion was an integral part of the curriculum that focused on tourism planning and policy development.
During their visit, students had the unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of community-based tourism management. The itinerary was designed to facilitate learning about community engagement, empowerment, and the implementation of sustainable practices within a community. By stepping outside the traditional classroom setting, students not only acquired knowledge but also gained valuable insight and experience from industry experts. This immersive approach aimed to enrich their understanding of real-world scenarios in the field of tourism.
