BUUIC was honored to welcome Associate Professor Dr. Hanafi Bin Hamzah, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at UCSI University, Malaysia, as a guest lecturer on 23-26 September 2025.
Dr. Hanafi delivered an inspiring lecture on the topic “The Soul of Wellness: Ethno-Wellness Practices in Southeast Asia & Malaysia.” His talk highlighted that Ethno-Wellness goes beyond services—it embodies authenticity, culture, and transformation. The lecture was attended by students from the International Business Management (IBM), Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM), and Wellness programs.
Following the lecture, Dr. Hanafi met with Prof. Krittipat Pitchayadejanant, Dean of BUUIC, along with the management team and HTM lecturers, to discuss potential collaborations and future academic activities.
He also visited BUUIC’s community service project, which will serve as a valuable resource for both research initiatives and student projects in the future.
