Hospitality, Tourism, and MICE (HTM) students collaborated with Hospitality and Facility Management students from Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas), Netherlands, to organize an event named the ‘Global Mind Event.’ This event took place at BUas on the 12th of December 2023 and aimed to prepare students for internships and working in an international business environment.
They worked together on the concept of the event, marketing, and the event plan. Discussions on these topics took place online throughout the entire semester, from the beginning to the end. We are pleased to learn that people there were as interested in this event as we are as part of the program. We watched the event online and were excited about our work. This experience is valuable for students as it integrates knowledge and provides exposure to working at an international level.
Special thanks to the 3rd-year students and 4th-year students from HTM, BUUIC Program, for putting in effort to work on this project. This activity is part of Cultural Diversity Management in Hospitality and Tourism Management, led by Ms. Hataipat Phungpumkaew from BUUIC, and Ms. Henny Verdellen from Hospitality and Facility Management from BUas.
