Burapha University International College recently hosted a workshop titled “Essentials of Outcome-Based Education (OBE): What All Lecturers Need to Know.” The event, held on August 5 – 6, 2024, aimed to empower BUUIC lecturers with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement OBE in their curriculum design and classrooms.
Facilitated by leading education expert; Asst. Prof. Dr. Denchai Prabjandee, the workshop provided an in-depth exploration of the OBE framework and its practical applications. BUUIC lecturers gained valuable insights into curriculum design, with clearly defined learning outcomes, learned how to align their teaching methods and assessments ensuring that students acquire the necessary competencies.
The interactive sessions and group discussions enabled BUUIC lecturers to share best practices, challenges, and insights, fostering a collaborative environment for professional development. This workshop is part of the college’s ongoing commitment to enhancing teaching and learning experiences for all students.
