BUUIC x UNEP: Leading the Future of Circular Supply Chains!

Burapha University International College (BUUIC) is proud to announce the successful soft launch of the “EPR 101: Rethinking Responsibility in the Plastic Value Chain in Thailand” course! On March 11, 2026, BUUIC reached a significant milestone in our mission to bridge academic excellence with global environmental standards. Developed in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and COBSEA, this course is designed to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools to solve the plastic crisis through Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

📍 Integration into the Classroom We aren’t just teaching theory; we are transforming our curriculum. This specialized EPR content is now officially integrated into our “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” course.

Our students are now learning:
✅ How to design “Reverse Logistics” for a circular economy.
✅ The impact of the new Sustainable Packaging Management Act (SPMA) on Thai businesses.
✅ How to manage the “Product Life Cycle” from a global policy perspective.

A Global Partnership By bringing UNEP’s international expertise directly to BUUIC students, we are ensuring that our graduates are not only ready for the workforce but are ready to lead Thailand toward a sustainable and waste-free future.

Stay tuned for more updates as the course will soon be available for the public on the BUU Lifelong Learning platform. We continue to drive innovation in sustainability!
