BUUIC Welcomes New Zealand Embassy and Wintec Institute of Technology for First Collaboration Meeting

On June 26, 2025, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the New Zealand Embassy in Thailand and Wintec | Te Pūkenga – the Waikato Institute of Technology – for their first official collaboration meeting.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Krittipat Pitchayadejanant, Dean of BUUIC, along with the administrative team, met with Ms. Farrah Jin (International Short Course Manager), Ms. Adie Haultain (Team Manager & Academic Lead), and Ms. Chortip Pramoolpol (Country Director – Philippines & Thailand, Education New Zealand, New Zealand Embassy) to initiate discussions and explore potential avenues for academic cooperation.

The meeting served as a valuable opportunity for both institutions to learn more about each other and to identify areas of mutual interest. Key discussion topics included student exchange programs, short courses, summer schools, virtual exchange activities, and joint webinars.

As an initial step, both institutions agreed to begin with classroom collaboration through virtual exchange activities starting from the next academic semester. This initiative aims to provide students with meaningful international learning experiences and promote deeper understanding between the two academic communities.

BUUIC looks forward to building a strong and lasting partnership with Wintec | Te Pūkenga and the New Zealand Embassy.
