BUUIC Welcomes Delegation from Khon Kaen University and Portland State University

On October 29, 2025, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) was honored to welcome Asst. Prof. Sirisak Laochankham, Dean of the College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University, along with Prof. Junghee Lee, Senior Fellow of the Center for Public Service, Prof. Margaret Eileen Banyan, Program Coordinator, and a group of Master’s degree students from Portland State University, USA.

The visit aimed to explore BUUIC’s community engagement initiatives and leadership development efforts. The delegation explored how BUUIC nurtures Global Citizens—students who connect, collaborate, and contribute globally while valuing local wisdom and social impact. They met with Miss Aranya Rodsabai (Pa Phuek), Head of the Khao Sam Muk Community Enterprise, and joined a community service workshop under Burapha University’s local engagement projects. The session was further enriched by insights from Dean Dr. Krittipat Pitakanonda and faculty members Dr. Kannapat Pitchayadejanant, Dr. Nuchjaree Pookaman, Dr. Panate Manomaiprakarn, and Dr. Siriporn Ketjanekarn, who shared their experiences in community collaboration and student leadership.

Special thanks to Ajarn Hataipat Phungpumkaew and Dr. Krittaorn Chewasung for serving as translators and facilitating the cross-cultural exchange throughout the visit.

Thank you to all BUUIC staff and the dedicated team for organizing and supporting this meaningful visit. Together, we continue to strengthen partnerships and foster learning that bridges local impact with global vision.
