On June 13, 2026, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) supported a teacher development workshop on the topic “Teacher Capacity Development for Competency-Based Foreign Language Learning toward Career Guidance in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)” at Banchangkarnchanakulwittaya School. The workshop focused on enhancing teachers’ understanding of career opportunities in the EEC and the foreign language skills required for future careers, while providing practical training through sessions on Language for Future Careers and Designing Lessons. Participants also engaged in reflection and action-planning activities to explore effective classroom implementation and competency-based learning approaches. The programme aimed to strengthen teachers’ capacity to connect foreign language education with career readiness and the needs of the future workforce. BUUIC would like to thank Banchangkarnchanakulwittaya School and all participating teachers for their enthusiastic engagement, valuable contributions, and commitment to educational development throughout the workshop.
