BUUIC Students Explore Lean Manufacturing at AAT Factory

On March 17, 2026, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) organized a field-based learning activity at Auto Alliance Thailand (AAT) for students enrolled in the Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain Risk Management courses. Led by Dr. Wichien Rueboon and Ajarn Abhishek, the visit provided students with practical insights into lean manufacturing, Six Sigma practices, and supply chain risk management within the automotive industry. Students observed real production processes, including assembly operations, quality control, and smart logistics systems, as well as advanced technologies such as 3D printing for operational efficiency. The activity aimed to bridge classroom knowledge with real-world applications and enhance students’ analytical and problem-solving skills. This experience strengthens BUUIC’s commitment to experiential learning and preparing students for careers in modern manufacturing and supply chain management.
