BUUIC Students Dive Deep into Korean Heritage at Gyeongguk National University

From April 4–9, 2025, a group of instructors and students from Burapha University International College (BUUIC) participated in an enriching cultural exchange program at Gyeongguk National University in Andong, South Korea. The program theme was “Korea’s Heritage and Cultural Management” which offered a comprehensive exploration of Korean history, traditions, and the practical aspects of cultural preservation. Students had the opportunity to visit UNESCO World Heritage sites, gaining firsthand knowledge of Korea’s efforts in maintaining and promoting its cultural legacy.

This initiative, part of BUUIC’s Global Experience course that combined academic learning with immersive cultural activities and fostering international understanding and cross-cultural competence. Through interactive sessions, on-site learning, and engagement with the local community, participants not only deepened their knowledge of Korean heritage but also developed valuable global perspectives. The experience underscored BUUIC’s commitment to preparing students for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
