BUUIC Organizes Green Office Training Workshop Session 1

On May 12, 2026, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) organized a staff training and development workshop entitled “Green Office Implementation Guidelines Session 1: Policy, Communication, and Resource & Energy Management” at Meeting Room IC601, International College Building. The workshop was led by Associate Professor Dr. Sayam Aroonsrimorakot from the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, as the keynote speaker and facilitator.

The training aimed to enhance staff awareness and understanding of Green Office principles and sustainable workplace practices in alignment with Burapha University’s Green University policy and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants attended lectures on the seven Green Office evaluation categories and engaged in practical workshop activities, including environmental surveys, Gap Analysis, and the development of an Action Plan for the College. The activity strengthened institutional capacity in sustainable management and promoted environmental responsibility within the university community.

This workshop supports SDG 7 (Clean Energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption), and SDG 13 (Climate Action) and marks an important milestone in BUUIC’s journey toward Green Office certification and reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.
