BUUIC Logistics Third-Year Students Visit Suvarnabhumi Airport and Airport Museum

On March 6, 2025, Mr. Abhishek Tiwari led his Current Issues in Logistics Management class on an educational visit to Suvarnabhumi Airport, accompanied by Dr. Wichien Rueboon, Instructor in Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Management. This visit provided students with valuable practical insights into airport logistics and operations.

At the Airport Museum, students were guided by Miss Phetchakrit Kitdamnil and Miss Kamoonchanok Saengsorn, who provided a detailed overview of the history of Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thailand’s aviation history, and the development of the airport’s infrastructure. Students learned about key milestones in Thailand’s aviation sector and how the airport has evolved into a major international hub.

In the Main Terminal Building, Miss Pimnada Wannakositpong and Miss Kanyapatch Chumpangern guided the students through various airport operations, explaining passenger flow management, baggage handling, and security procedures.

Additionally, students gained insights into the role of technology in enhancing efficiency and security at one of Southeast Asia’s busiest airports.

This visit allowed students to grasp the critical role of airports in global transportation networks, reinforcing the practical applications of their classroom learning.
