On 13 November, A. Jimmy took his Multimodal Transport class to visit Kerry Siam Seaport (KSSP) in Sriracha. Mr. Wissaruth Kongutaikul, Director of Warehouse Operations at KSSP, made a presentation for the students. He first discussed Kerry’s overall logistics business in Asia. Then, he talked in more detail about the logistics operations at KSSP. After Mr. Wissaruth’s presentation, a BUUIC logistics student, currently working as an intern at KSSP, made a short presentation about her internship experiences. After the presentations, Mr. Wissaruth escorted the students out to the ship pier where the students watched container ship loading and unloading operations. Then, he brought our students to KSSP’s steel coil warehouse. Here, the students watched KSSP’s heavy equipment load large heavy steel coils onto tractor-trailer trucks. We would like to thank Mr. Wissaruth for hosting our field trip. He always does an excellent job interacting with our students.
