BUUIC Logistics Fourth-Year Students Visit Ichitan Green Factory

On October 20, 2025, Mr. Abhishek Tiwari, BUUIC Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Management instructor, led a group of fourth-year Logistics students from the Seminar in Logistics and Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Systems classes on an educational visit to the Ichitan Green Factory and Tanland Learning Center, accompanied by Dr. Wichien Rueboon, Instructor in Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Upon arrival, Ichitan staff warmly welcomed the students and introduced the company’s inspiring journey, emphasizing its commitment to sustainability and green innovation. Students watched a video showcasing the tea leaf sourcing from Chiang Rai and the full beverage production process before touring the factory to observe automated production lines, robotic packaging, and smart warehouse operations that ensure efficiency and precision. The visit also highlighted Ichitan’s recycling and waste management practices, demonstrating how sustainability is embedded in every stage of its supply chain.

The educational visit provided students with an enriching hands-on learning experience, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world industrial applications. It enhanced their understanding of smart manufacturing, automation, sustainability, and supply chain innovation.
