BUUIC Joins Thailand–Ireland Forum on Advancing Technology and Digital Partnership

On September 23, 2025, Ms. Hataipat Phungpumkaew, Associate Dean for International Affairs and Global Relations at BUUIC, joined the Thailand–Ireland Forum: Advancing Technology and Digital Partnership at the Pullman King Power Hotel, Bangkok organized by the Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Ireland.

The event aimed to strengthen digital cooperation between Thailand and Ireland by fostering an ecosystem for advanced technology and innovation through the exchange of best practices, policy directions, and expert insights. Distinguished speakers from Thailand, Ireland, and the European Union shared perspectives on the digital economy and 21st-century employability skills, including Dr. Hugh O’Connell, Managing Director of ICDL Thailand and Vice President of the Irish–Thai Chamber of Commerce, who highlighted Ireland’s role as a digital hub and emphasized the need for upskilling and reskilling.

BUUIC is confident that this collaboration will enhance its role as a leading institution in international education and digital innovation in the region.
