On September 19 and October 24, 2024, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) students visited the Tao Thong Hotel on the Burapha University campus. The students are sophomores enrolled in the “Room Division” course, which is part of BUUIC’s Hospitality, Tourism, and MICE (HTM) major.
During the first visit, students learned about the roles and responsibilities of “front-of-house” staff. During the second visit, they observed the roles and responsibilities of the housekeeping team, who demonstrated how to prepare a hotel room to be guest-ready. Students also gained insights from the security department on creating a safe environment for guests and hotel staff.
These visits provided students with direct knowledge from various operations team members, allowing them to experience activities outside the traditional classroom. We extend our thanks to Mr. Kanjanasit Chinnapha, HTM instructor and manager of the Tao Thong Hotel, for supporting these student activities. We look forward to future opportunities with the Tao Thong Hotel as we continue to help our students gain knowledge about hotel operations.
