BUUIC Hosts “Event Youth Leadership 2025” under the Eastern MICE Academic Cluster with Support from TCEB

On September 9, 2025, Burapha University International College (BUUIC), in collaboration with the Eastern MICE Academic Cluster and with the support of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), successfully organized the academic service project “Event Youth Leadership 2025” at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Burapha University.

The project was established to enhance knowledge and awareness of the event and MICE industry, particularly in the Eastern region where the sector continues to grow rapidly as an international destination for large-scale events. The program aims to prepare and inspire future event professionals, strengthen leadership skills, and build networks with industry experts to support sustainable development in the event industry.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ronachai Rattanaset, Dean of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Burapha University. The event featured a series of distinguished guest speakers, including:

Ms. Oranuch Wongpannngam, Director of Industry Capability Development, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB)

Dr. Supalak Suwatti, Secretary-General of the Event Management Association (EMA) and Managing Director of D Sixty Three Co., Ltd.

Dr. Songsin Teerakulpisut, Director of TCEB Songkhla Office, Prince of Songkla University

Mr. Narongchai Khunpluem, Mayor of Saen Suk Municipality

Asst. Prof. Dr. Krittipat Pitchayadejanant, Dean of BUUIC

Through lectures and interactive sessions, participants learned about sustainable event practices, career pathways in the MICE industry, and the opportunities available to youth leaders in event management.

The program brought together over 100 participants, including BUUIC students, academic staff, and students from other institutions across the Eastern region. The event provided valuable insights into the importance of event and MICE industries while also promoting BUUIC’s academic programs and strengthening collaboration with industry partners.

This initiative highlights BUUIC’s commitment to academic service, student development, and international engagement, reflecting its mission to foster future leaders in the MICE and event industries.
