On October 28, 2024, third-year Global Business Communications students from Burapha University International College (BUUIC) organized a social responsibility initiative, “BUUIC Volunteer Clean to Clear,” at Wat Tan Lom. This event, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuchjaree Pookkaman as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility course, was created to provide students with hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and executing a community service project.
The students participated in an early morning cleaning session, which involved thorough cleaning of the temple’s lavatories, sweeping fallen leaves, and tidying the chapel grounds. Additionally, they donated essential cleaning supplies, including garbage bags, toilet cleaners, brushes, and brooms, ensuring the temple had resources for future maintenance.
This volunteer project offered students valuable experience in community service, allowing them to build skills in problem-solving, event coordination, and teamwork. It also helped them develop a deeper understanding of social and environmental responsibility.
