BUUIC Faculty Members Participate in an International Scholars Conference

The prestigious International Scholars Conference (ISC) 2024 was held on 22 and 23 August at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) in Indonesia. Hosted by the Faculty of Economics, the event brought together leading academics, researchers, and students from around the world to discuss current issues in global management and accounting as well as other topics.

Dr. Sudip Debkumar, a senior faculty member from BUUIC’s Department of Finance, was among the invited guest speakers. His presentation on “Current Issues in Global Management and Accounting” captivated the audience and sparked a lively Q&A session. The distinguished audience included academics as well as Master’s and Doctoral students from UNISSULA’s Faculty of Economics.

Aj. Sirinthorn, Chairperson of BUUIC’s BBA program, was also a distinguished speaker at the conference. The participation of BUUIC’s faculty members highlights the university’s significant contributions to global academic discourse.

The event featured an impressive lineup of guest speakers from UNISSULA, UiTM Cawangan Kelantan in Malaysia, and San Pedro College in the Philippines.
