Burapha University International College (BUUIC), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krittipat Pitchayadejanant, Dean of BUUIC, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Panate Manomaivibool, Associate Dean for Academic Service and Sustainable Management, participated in a training program organized by the World Bank. The College is committed to strengthening the role of higher education institutions as “strategic partners” in advancing sustainable urban development at the global level, with the goal of establishing a “Sustainable Management Consulting Center” to enhance the capacities of cities, the public sector, and private organizations.
The proposed center will serve as a knowledge hub and advisory body for low-carbon city management, covering policy development, in-depth data analysis, strategic planning, and the design of investment projects aligned with international sustainability frameworks. In addition, the center aims to support the effective development of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives by providing consultancy on funding strategies, risk management, and the evaluation of economic, social, and environmental impacts, ensuring long-term positive outcomes from investments.
With strong academic expertise combined with practical experience, BUUIC is well-positioned to lead the transition toward sustainable urban development, contributing to a future that balances economic growth, quality of life, and environmental sustainability.

วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. กฤษฏิพัทธ์ พิชญะเดชอนันต์ คณบดี และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ปเนต มโนมัยวิบูลย์ รองคณบดีด้านบริการวิชาการและความยั่งยืน เข้าร่วมการอบรมจัดโดย ธนาคารโลก World Bank ซึ่งวิทยาลัยฯ มุ่งมั่นในการยกระดับบทบาทของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในการเป็น “พันธมิตรเชิงกลยุทธ์” เพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาเมืองอย่างยั่งยืนในระดับสากล โดยตั้งเป้าหมายในการจัดตั้ง “ศูนย์ให้คำปรึกษาการจัดการยั่งยืน” เพื่อเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถให้แก่เมือง ภาครัฐ และภาคเอกชน
ศูนย์ดังกล่าวจะทำหน้าที่เป็นแหล่งองค์ความรู้และที่ปรึกษาด้านการวางแผนและบริหารจัดการเมืองคาร์บอนต่ำ (Low-Carbon City) ครอบคลุมทั้งมิติของการกำหนดนโยบาย การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงลึก การจัดทำแผนกลยุทธ์ ตลอดจนการออกแบบโครงการลงทุนที่สอดคล้องกับแนวทางความยั่งยืนในระดับสากล
นอกจากนี้ ศูนย์ยังมุ่งเน้นการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาโครงการความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐและเอกชน (Public-Private Partnership: PPP) อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยให้คำปรึกษาด้านการจัดหาแหล่งทุน การบริหารความเสี่ยง และการประเมินความคุ้มค่าทางเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อให้การลงทุนสามารถสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกในระยะยาว
ด้วยความเชี่ยวชาญทางวิชาการผสานกับประสบการณ์เชิงปฏิบัติ วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา พร้อมเป็นผู้นำในการขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่การพัฒนาเมืองอย่างยั่งยืน โดยร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสร้างอนาคตที่สมดุลระหว่างการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ คุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน และการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างแท้จริง
