The BUUIC Student Club hosted the 2023 Wai Kru and Bai Sri Su Kwan Ceremony on September 14, 2023. This ceremony is an opportunity for students to express their appreciation for instructors and to welcome new students. Wai Khru is a Thai traditional ceremony. It provides an excellent chance for students to uphold the long-standing tradition of showing respect and gratitude to their BUUIC lecturers for sharing their expertise and providing assistance to all students. As part of Wai Kru Day, BUUIC held a ceremony to award students, including scholarships for Outstanding Academic Record, Participation in Extracurricular Activities, Participation in the BUUIC Student Club, and Student Leadership in each BUUIC Major. Moreover, many Thai and international students performed the traditional Bai Sri Su Kwan blessing ceremony with their BUUIC instructors. All participants also enjoyed the Thai folklore dance presented by BUUIC students. More than 150 participants—executives, instructors, staff members, and students—participated in the Wai Kru Day ceremonies, which served as a traditional ceremony every academic year.
