BUU and BUUIC Attend APAIE 2026 Conference

On February 22–23, 2026, Burapha University and Burapha University International College (BUUIC) participated in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2026 Conference, organized by The University of Hong Kong and partner universities in Hong Kong.


During the conference, BUUIC met with key partners to discuss student scholarships, mobility programs, and future collaboration, including Prof. David Begg, Associate Vice President (International) at Brock University; Chelsey Laird from University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP), with whom BUUIC will host three students from Vancouver this year; Hanny Verdellen from Breda University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands; and Thomas Schieber and Ingela Lundin, Director of International Affairs and representatives from the Outgoing Department of Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University). The delegation also reconnected in person with long-term partners such as Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand) and engaged with new potential partners including the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, strengthening BUUIC’s global network and reinforcing its commitment to internationalization and academic collaboration worldwide.
