On Friday, August 23, 2024, esteemed representatives from Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar (UINAM), Indonesia, visited Burapha University International College (BUUIC) in an effort to establish meaningful research collaborations between the two institutions. The delegation from UINAM includes Dr. Alim Syariati, the Head of Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Rika Dwi Ayu Parmitasari, the Head of the Islamic Banking Laboratory, and Mrs. Syarifa Umrah. The visit aims to foster academic cooperation, particularly in areas of mutual research interest.
The UINAM delegates warmly welcomed by Ms. Kasemsri Ithipong, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Ms. Waraporn Teerasak, Associate Dean for International Affairs. During the visit, discussions focus on identifying key areas for joint research, exploring opportunities for faculty and student exchanges, and laying the groundwork for future collaborative projects. By leveraging the strengths of both institutions, the collaboration aims to produce high-impact research that addresses global challenges while promoting cross-cultural understanding.
