On 31 October 2023, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) and the University of Akron (UA) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The representatives from BUUIC included 1) Asst. Prof. Dr. Parinya Nakpathom, Dean of BUUIC, 2) Ms. Kasemsri Ittiphong, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, and 3) Ms. Waraporn Theerasak, Associate Dean for International Affairs. The representatives from UA included 1) Prof. R.J. Nemer, Dean of the College of Business, and 2) Prof. Eric Brisker, Department Chair of Finance. UA is situated in Akron, Ohio, the U.S. and one of the nation’s strongest public universities focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and economic growth. In the near future, BUUIC and UA wish to start faculty member and student mobility as well as the research collaboration.
