On April 11, 2024, BUUIC lecturers and staff took their Import-Export Management class to visit Kerry Siam Seaport (KSSP). Participants included 33 IBM students. Mr. Wissaruth Kongutaikul, Operation Support Director at KSSP, gave an informative presentation about Kerry Logistics and the operations at KSSP. After the presentation, Mr. Wissaruth led the students onto the docks to observe actual ship loading and unloading operations. The trip ended after he brought the students to the Kerry Container Freight station located at KSSP. Field trips such as this trip to KSSP provide our BUUIC students with an excellent experiential learning opportunity as well as an opportunity to talk with experts in their fields. For the trip to KSSP, the experts were in the field of transportation logistics.
