Every year, people worldwide celebrate Pride Month in June, and so does BUUIC! BUUIC always supports ‘SDG5 Gender Equality,’ and we have celebrated it continuously. Besides the decoration inside and outside of the BUUIC building in rainbows, which is Pride Month’s unique color, BUUIC also educates students about gender equality in different dimensions—for example, gender equality in the labor markets, payment, and leadership. BUUIC encourages students to be proud of who they are and feel confident expressing themselves as long as they do not hurt themselves or others.
