Burapha University International College (BUUIC) continues to reinforce its international connections and explore new opportunities for academic cooperation through its participation in the China Annual Conference and Expo for International Education (CACIE 2026), held in Beijing, China, on 30-31 October 2026.
As part of the Thai university delegation accompanying the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), led by Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Burapha University and BUUIC are proud to represent Thailand and contribute to the development of international academic cooperation.
Representing BUUIC are Asst. Prof. Hataipat Phungpumkaew, Associate Dean for International Affairs and Global Relations, and Ajan Liu Yu. They are joining the Burapha University delegation led by Prof. Somtawin Jaritkhuan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, together with the Global Relations Center team.
During the conference, the delegation has had valuable opportunities to meet with representatives from partner universities, reconnect with existing partners, and explore new possibilities for academic collaboration, student and staff exchanges, and international partnerships.
Every visit to China brings new connections and exciting opportunities for BUUIC. This year, we are delighted to reconnect with our university partners from China, Russia, and Kazakhstan, while also exploring opportunities to expand our international network and develop future collaborations.
One of the most heartwarming moments so far has been meeting BUUIC alumni from China who came to say hello and reconnect with their former teachers. Seeing our former students again reminds us that international education is about more than academic partnerships. It is also about building lasting friendships, maintaining meaningful connections, and creating a global family that continues to grow long after graduation.
As CACIE 2026 continues, BUUIC looks forward to further exchanges with international partners and to discovering new opportunities to connect people, universities, and ideas across borders.
