On April 28, 2026, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) partnered with Ming Chuan University International College (MCUIC) to host a dynamic collaborative teaching session, bringing together students from Thailand and Taiwan. The session included MCUIC students enrolled in the Consumer Behavior course and BUUIC students from the Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) and Business Administration programs who are studying Tourist Behavior.
During the session, students were paired across institutions and worked together to explore key topics related to consumer behavior. Their discussions covered areas such as willingness to pay for eco-friendly hotels and environmentally friendly products, levels of trust in cross-border e-commerce and the factors influencing that trust, as well as the impact of social media on travel decisions and purchasing behavior. They also exchanged ideas on “must-experience” activities and “must-buy” souvenirs in both Taiwan and Thailand, while being encouraged to propose additional questions to deepen their understanding of consumer behavior in an international context.
With more than 80 students actively participating, the session provided a valuable platform for cultural exchange, collaborative learning, and joint presentations. This initiative not only enhanced students’ global perspectives but also further strengthened the academic relationship between BUUIC and MCUIC.
