During 22–29 March 2026, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) hosted a Study Abroad Program in Bangsaen and Bangkok for students and professors from the University of Akron, USA, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eric Brisker and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mary Becker. The program, under the theme “Business and Cultural Study in Thailand,” provided participants with insights into Thailand’s business environment, economic development, and cultural heritage through academic sessions and site visits. Highlights included visits to the Coin Museum, EASTPARK BUU, Blue Crab Bank in Angsila, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, along with cultural experiences such as the Alcazar Cabaret Show and Khon performance. The initiative aimed to enhance cross-cultural understanding and experiential learning through real-world exploration. This program strengthened international collaboration and enriched global perspectives for both institutions.
