BUUIC Strengthens Academic Collaboration with National Taipei University

On December 8, 2025, A delegation from Burapha University International College (BUUIC), led by Assistant Prof. Dr. Krittipat Pitchayadejanant, Dean of BUUIC, visited National Taipei University (NTPU) to advance academic cooperation between the two institutions. Accompanying him were Ms. Hataipat Phungpumkaew, Associate Dean for International Affairs and Global Relations, and Mr. Jirayut Pitanon, Lecturer in Finance in the BBA program.

The BUUIC team received a warm welcome from NTPU’s key administrators, including:

• Dr. Yu-Shan Chen, Vice President for Academic and Research and Distinguished Professor, Department of Business Administration

• Dr. Thijs A. Velema, Dean, Office of International Affairs

• Dr. Sherry Chia-Ying Chan, Dean, International College of Sustainability Innovations

• Dr. Josef Kuo-Hsun Ma, Associate Dean, International College of Sustainability Innovations

• Dr. Wei-Lun Chang, Director of SHM, International College of Sustainability Innovations

• Dr. Haobijam Basanta, College Secretary, International College of Sustainability Innovations

A key highlight of the visit was the official signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on student exchange cooperation. This agreement marks a significant step in strengthening academic ties and expanding global learning opportunities for students from both universities.

Through this partnership, students in Hospitality, Communication and Modern Media, and Business Administration, including Finance, Marketing, and International Business Management, will gain access to exchange programs, joint academic initiatives, and enhanced mobility between Thailand and Taiwan.

Both BUUIC and NTPU also expressed a shared commitment to developing future collaborations in sustainability research and project development, reinforcing their dedication to promoting global education, cross-cultural understanding, and sustainable development.

The newly signed agreement is expected to open meaningful pathways for academic growth, innovation, and long-term partnership between the two institutions.
