On 12 November 2025, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) was delighted to welcome Assistant Professor Eric Brisker, Chair of the Finance Department at the College of Business, The University of Akron, USA.
In the morning, Assistant Professor Brisker met with the BUUIC Dean and management team to discuss for more opportunities for students and faculty—such as exchange programs, joint academic activities, and future collaborations that will strengthen the partnership between BUUIC and The University of Akron.
In the afternoon, BUUIC students had the special opportunity to attend Assistant Professor Brisker’s guest lecture titled “Our Future in Finance: Global Opportunities for Thai Students.” During the session, he shared practical insights about the fast-changing world of global finance, highlighted exciting career paths, and offered advice on how Thai students can prepare themselves for international opportunities. The lecture was engaging, informative, and inspiring for students who are planning their future careers.
BUUIC is grateful for this meaningful visit and looks forward to building even stronger academic ties with The University of Akron.
