BUUIC Welcomes Delegation from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

On 21 October 2025, BUUIC led by Asst. Prof. Krittipat Pitchayadejanant, Dean of BUUIC, was honored to welcome distinguished guests from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM): Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Hakimi, Deputy Dean for International and Linkages, Faculty of Economics and Management, Professor Harfiz Rasul Mohamed, Managing Director and Country Manager, Global Reach Education, and Dr. Nik Mohd Azim Nik Ab Malik, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Economics and Management.

The purpose of the visit was to explore potential collaboration in research projects related to Halal Business and Business Program Development. Both institutions share a common vision of placing students at the center of academic advancement, focusing on developing high-quality graduates. Discussions also covered opportunities for joint programs in Logistics, Finance, Marketing, International Business Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Events, and Communication, as well as short-term academic programs.

After the meeting, the guests visited BUUIC’s Kitchen Operations Laboratory, where hospitality students were actively engaged in practical training on food preparation, service management, and cost control. The visit provided valuable encouragement and inspiration for BUUIC students and staff.

This fruitful meeting marks a promising beginning for future academic and research collaborations between BUUIC and UKM.
