BUUIC Logistics Third-Year Students Visit Laem Chabang Port Customs Office

On October 7, 2025, Mr. Abhishek Tiwari and Dr. Wichien Rueboon, Instructors in Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Management, led a group of BUUIC third-year logistics students from Warehouse Management class on an educational visit to the Laem Chabang Port Customs Office. The visit aimed to provide students with practical, hands-on learning experiences related to real-world customs operations in logistics.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Wichayaboon Chuenorankul and his Customs Technical team from the Customs Department conducted an in-depth presentation on the department’s operations. He explained the use of advanced technologies such as X-ray screening, the Thai Customs Electronic System (E-Customs), and the handling of e-documents. In addition, he discussed important import and export rules and the laws of Thai Customs, emphasizing their vital role in ensuring compliance, security, and efficiency in international trade.

This educational experience provided the students with valuable insights into the crucial role of technology, documentation, and legal frameworks in effective logistics management, helping them bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world application.
