BUUIC Hosts “Community Services and Cultural Study Program” for NUS

From August 4 to 9, 2025, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) proudly welcomed a delegation of 14 students and lecturer from the National University of Singapore (NUS) for the “Community Services and Cultural Study Program.” Ranked 17th in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, NUS collaborated with BUUIC to deliver a six-day program that combined community engagement, cultural exchange, and academic learning.

The program offered NUS students hands-on experiences in four local communities in Chonburi—Saen Suk, Ban Puek, Si Chang Island, and Nong Pla Lai and conducted field research with local enterprises, such as community tourism initiatives, agricultural cooperatives, and heritage-based small businesses guided by BUUIC lecturers.

The program concluded with participants presenting community projects and plans for how NUS could support local development. This initiative strengthened collaboration between BUUIC and NUS while promoting cultural exchange and sustainable development. BUUIC looks forward to building more international partnerships that link global education with local impact.
