On 20 August 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) participated in a paper donation initiative to support The Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind in Naklua, Pattaya.
The College donated A4 paper that had been reused or stored for over 10 years to the school. These papers will be repurposed for the production of Braille materials, providing blind and visually impaired individuals with essential learning resources.
This meaningful initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
• SDG 4: Quality Education — ensuring inclusive and equitable access to education for all, including persons with disabilities.
• SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production — promoting efficient use of materials and reducing waste through reuse and recycling practices.
• SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — strengthening collaboration with community organizations for sustainable development.
Moreover, the project supports the Green University policy of BUU, which promotes environmental consciousness, resource efficiency, and community engagement across all academic units.
Through this contribution, BUUIC continues to foster a culture of care for both people and the planet, encouraging staff and students to take part in small but impactful actions that promote sustainability and inclusivity in society.
