BUUIC and AHS Hosts Academic Service Program with the National University of Singapore (NUS)

During 5-10 January 2025, Burapha University International College (BUUIC) and Allied Health Sciences (AHS) welcomed students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) for the enriching “Community Services and Cultural Study Program.” This initiative aimed to connect academic services with local enterprises in Chonburi and Chachoengsao, focusing on Khao Sam Muk Local Enterprise to promote the market to be acknowledged by foreign tourists and reduce the waste from the oyster shell. Also, the Rice Me Up project aims to enhance the product and the quality of the product from the waste of rice. In addition, the program was built upon a previous initiative held in July, which connected Thai local communities with NUS students to enhance the quality of life for the region. The program commits to Sustainable Development Goals 1, 4, 8, 12, and 17.
