On November 27, 2024, Mr. James Vincent Johnson took his English for IBM class to visit Kerry Siam Seaport (KSSP). The focus of the course was advanced English used in importing and exporting. Since KSSP is an import and export hub, the field trip served as a good real-world learning opportunity. Participants included 37 IBM students as well as Mr. Kiti Poonsangsiri and Ms. Panida Chaipan from the BUUIC office staff. Mr. Wissaruth Kongutaikul, Operation Support Director at KSSP, gave an informative presentation about Kerry Logistics and the import-export operations at KSSP. After the presentation, Mr. Wissaruth led the students onto the docks to observe actual ship operations. The trip ended after Mr. Wissaruth brought the students to the Kerry Container Freight station located at KSSP.
