On October 16th, 2024, Ajarn Wichien Rueboon and Ajarn Abhishek Tiwari, along with Kiti Poonsangsiri, Academic Officer, led the students of the Procurement and Sourcing in Supply Chain class on an educational visit to DHL Express in Chonburi.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jenjira Kamkarw from the DHL office. The visit featured a detailed and engaging presentation by Mr. Kunchorn Chaiyanont, Service Center Manager at DHL Express Chonburi. He provided a comprehensive overview of DHL’s global operations, highlighting the company’s origins, its extensive international network, and the significant role of its operations in Thailand and other provinces. The students were also given a firsthand look at some of the operational processes within the facility.
This visit offered students valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the critical role that technology and organizational efficiency play in modern logistics management. The real-world exposure complemented their academic learning and provided them with meaningful insights into the complexities of global logistics and supply chain management.
